On Saturday May 13, 2017 Interconsulting Studio Associato organized a workshop in Milan on the new law so called “After us” which promotes the welfare, full social inclusion and autonomy of people with disabilities when the related family shall miss.

It is an important law because, for the first time, in the legal system are identified and recognized specific protections (trust and fiduciary trust) for people with disabilities when they fail the relatives who followed them until that time.

The objective of the measure is to ensure maximum autonomy and independence of people with disabilities, allowing, for example, to continue living in their own homes or in facilities managed by associations and avoiding recourse to health care.

During the convention Maurizio Bottoni and Matteo Centuori explained in detail the tax advantages provided by law and the different measures offered by Italian Legislation to plan any succession in order to favorite the people with disabilities with respect the other components of the family.
