Following the recommendations of the Portuguese Government regarding COVID-19, the Portuguese registration services have limited service until 9 April, and it is only possible to take care of urgent acts.

However, documents whose validity ends on March 9 will remain valid until June 30 and will be accepted for all legal purposes.

This applies to all kind of documents including identification card and driving license.
