New Ways To Prove Job Stability

To prove job stability, the following documents must be presented depending on the type of worker:

  1. Dependent Workers:
  • Employment Contract and annexes.
  • Certificate of employment validity.
  • Appointment resolution or decree for those who work in State agencies or Public Institutions; certificate of seniority; and validity of public officials.
  • Settlement of remuneration and/or Honorarium Receipt.
  • Historical record of AFP pension contributions.
  • Fonasa or Isapre contribution certificate.
  1. Self-employed workers:
  • Certificate of Commencement of Activities.
  • Annual Report of Honorarium Receipts.
  • Honorarium Receipt.
  • Taxpayer's tax folder.
  • AFP contribution card, if applicable.
  • Certificate of contributions from Fonasa or Isapre
  1. Dependents:
  • Affidavit of expenses.
  • Prove the financial income of the supporter, according to his/her situation.
  • Certificate from the congregation or church, legalized by the Bishop of the diocese or by the superior of the church.

It is essential that applicants for Permanent Residence inform themselves about these new requirements to ensure compliance with current regulations.

Exempt Resolution No. 31,510 of the National Migration Service, recently published in the Official Gazette of Chile. This resolution details the new ways of proving job stability in applications for Permanent Residence, in accordance with number 2 of article 65 of Decree No. 256 of 2021.
