Transfer pricing in Asia, with a focus on China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore
On November 23rd, the live webinar organized by ACB and ICC Italia was held, with the participation of Guido Tomatis, Algebra partner, at the invitation of Studio GWA, ACB Member.
The event, moderated by Paolo de’ Capitani of Vimercate – Studio Uckmar ACB Member, who also participated as a speaker, saw the voices of professionals with long experience in the countries involved and specialized in their tax legislation, who provided regulatory profiles and operational aspects for each country, sharing their experience on the subject, touching on critical issues, commonalities and differences.
The regulatory framework of reference and the tools available to activate transfer pricing policies in line with Italian, international and country regulations have been outlined, in order to provide tax risk management tools in Italian groups with offices in Asia.
In particular, for the Singapore market, the main peculiarities of the local legislation on transfer pricing and the procedures to prevent and minimize any double taxation and conflicts with the authorities to which the companies involved belong were highlighted.
We would like to thank ICC Italia, ACB Group and Studio GWA for the excellent initiative and implementation, with a topic of great interest to all international groups.
