UK Critical Skills
Did you know that the UK has a huge skills shortage? The skills shortages in the UK cross a myriad of forms of employment. There are two lists currently of skilled worker visa shortage occupations, the last time it was updated was the 7th August 2023. On that there are currently 38 critical skills ranging from fishermen to plasterers to bricklayers to carpenters to IT personnel all the way up to engineers and scientists. So, in short, a full bag.
There is then a separate list for medical practitioners. This list has 15 categories on it and covers all spheres of medicine from nursing to paramedics to social workers, to pharmacists and medical specialists of all types.
