Background to Classify Illness as Occupational in Nature

Recently, the Temuco Court of Appeals upheld a protection appeal against SUSESO, which classified the illness of a municipal employee as having a common origin.
The Court of Appeals held that the complaints filed by other workers against their employer, as well as the existence of sentences handed down by labor courts, are antecedents that can be considered to classify an illness as having an occupational origin.
