Harinera del Valle and Promigas Inaugurate Solar Farm in Villa Rica, Cauca

On May 17, Harinera del Valle and Gases de Occidente inaugurated the company's first solar farm at its plant in Villa Rica, Cauca.

This event represents a significant milestone in the more than 75-year history of Harinera del Valle, a proudly Valle del Cauca company that is dedicated to sustainable development and growth through solutions that address the challenges of climate change.

The solar plant, built by GdO and financed by Promigas, will allow Harinera del Valle to generate up to 30% of the clean energy necessary for its plant in Villa Rica, Cauca, where La Muñeca, Conzazoni, Pugliese and San Remo pastas are produced. , products that have been part of the lives of millions of Colombians for decades.

This initiative highlights the commitment of two of the most emblematic companies in Valle del Cauca to work towards a cleaner and more sustainable future, through energy projects that are respectful of the environment.
